SEO Experts Share Ways to Build Better-Quality Backlinks

Site links have the potential to skyrocket traffic, off-page SEO, and rankings. But building right links isn’t easy and neither a fun activity. In today’s cut throat competitive world, business can’t boost results on old tactics, and directories. There are proven methods to acquire right links with less effort to build a campaign.

Firstly the users need to understand what type of links to be focussed on and have a data packed report on why specifically those links. Google conducted a Q&A for this in 2016 hosted by a Search Quality Senior Strategist Andrey Lipattsev.

Lipattsev declared that the top two ranking factors are Links and content. Better rankings need better content and more/better links with efficient backlink diversity. This data is backed up by research from Backlinko. They studied one million search engine result pages to find factors that influence rankings the most.

Top-ranking content (1-10 on SERPs) had more links suggesting they dominated the competition with backlinks. Top-ranking posts had links not only from one but actually hundreds of diverse websites. High domain authority (DA) sites are the best links. So there has to be quantity, quality and diversity.

Secondly, businesses need to generate more brand mentions by posting better content. Find a brand to talk about the business. Not a standard blog post about SEO tips. They need to reach out to sites and ask them to include link where the brand is mentioned. Since they’ve already mentioned you, they will likely have no problem giving you a link. Mention influencers in the content then write a round-up post featuring experts. This way is cheap, easy & effective. A great way to let influencers know of a brand’s new content featuring their input is to just mention them in the posts.
