Product reviews are an integral part of any business. Every buyer does his/her research before buying a product. And the first thing that pops up in the mind is a product review. May it be on Flipkart or Amazon, everyone refers to the product reviews before buying anything.

The statistics says 63% of customers purchase from sites that have user reviews. And 88% of online shoppers include reviews in their purchase decision.

Product reviews are a form of bridge that forms between the seller and the buyer. It is an establishment of trust. The customer only sees the price and product, how it works and is it dependable is the word of the other customers.

Good reviews drive the sales. But negative reviews also confirm the reliability. If all the reviews on the sites are good, it seems made up and customers don’t trust the authenticity of the site or product.

Product reviews help the sales in three major ways. One of them is, they provide better product description. Rather than reading the mechanical version of the seller’s product description it is better to read customer reviews.

It mentions the details of the real product and not a hypothetical ones. Many product reviews also have images. And customers trust these images more than the ones provided by the site.

These reviews are content of sort. And they are customer generated, which makes it trustworthy. If the customers share their experiences, the prospects become customers. Another important factor is the SEO improvement.

If you have more reviews, then you rank higher in the search engines. The more reviews you get, the more hits you get and your business sales crank up. There are many add-on apps that help with product reviews like 2kreviews, Yotpo, Bazaarvoice and PowerReviews. Do this and your sales will really skyrocket.
