So many young girls, at least once in their lives, aspire to be models in the future—sexy, gorgeous, admired, and popular. At first glance, it is so easy for so many to be attracted to the glamorous lifestyle of a model. Unknown to many, however, the modeling industry demands so much from those who aspire to build their careers under the limelight. Industry executives look for women who are taller and thinner than most, stunning at first glance. For Alison Bowles, on the other hand, defying these industry standards is what she does best.
Alison Bowles is a rising international model who only stands at 5’3”, 5 inches short of what modeling agencies and brands usually look for in their models. Despite this minor setback, however, Alison is determined to make it in the industry using her grit, by working hard, and by being her usual charming and witty self. She is currently a Maxim model and is also signed under MMG New York. She is determined to set an example to other petite women like her who aspire to try their luck as a model. She wants to show them that they do not have to be limited by industry standards and need only to believe in their potential to be someone great.
Not only does Alison have the potential to become one of the world’s most promising models, but she is also an entrepreneur and creator of Wander in Heels, a travel blog that caters to tourism boards and hotels from all over the world. Alison creates her own content and sells preset packs for edits on her website. Her travels have brought her to many of the world’s most breathtaking destinations, including Antigua and Barbuda, Toronto, London, Paris, Cuba, Thailand, Amsterdam, and New York City, to name a few.
Alison Bowles also ventured into other businesses such as the online boutique Lacy Coe and Slay Miami, America’s First CBD sports recovery center. She also owns YOUv Radiance Charity, a non-profit organization that focuses on raising awareness on skin cancer and how best to prevent it. Alison had skin cancer when she was only 22 years old and has been actively educating people on how to avoid it for quite some time now after surviving the illness. The organization is also an active supporter of the Skin Cancer Foundation.
The young model and entrepreneur sees herself gracing magazine covers in the future and becoming a public figure, representing petite models who are thriving in the industry. She is also focused on growing her travel blog and traveling to 25 more countries in the next few years to promote tourism, fashion, and healthy living.
In the years to come, Alison only sees positive and exciting things happening in her modeling career. As someone who has made a very bold statement when it comes to industry standards, she is not backing down from any challenges despite the pressures and demands that industry executives may impose. At the end of the day, she knows she has what it takes to make a positive influence on the lives of people, represent a brand successfully, and convey a life-changing message to anyone around the world.
At this point in her life, Alison is all about making the most of what has been given to her—an opportunity to shine like the star that she is destined to be.
