Alec Kesheshian’s parents are from the middle east and he was born in LA- likely leading him to interact with many different cultures from a young age. He is interested in traveling the world and loves discovering what other places have to offer.

He has stated that his main inspiration for the clothing line God’s Dream, came to him after a trip to Italy. He was exposed to the patterns, textures, and textiles of that country and decided to bring them back to LA with him, in the form of his brand.

He said that he spent most of his time in Italy in Milan and was able to see where famous fashion lines originated. Kesheshian also had the chance to study their high-quality fabrics and said that he was inspired by them.

Kesheshian was also able to visit the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Upon his return to America, he started to work on God’s Dream. After just a few months he was able to open a physical store in LA on Melrose Avenue. Had Kesheshian not experienced Italy so thoroughly, he might not have started the business.

Where He Wants His Inspirations to Go

Kesheshian’s clothing line, God’s Dream, takes a majority of its inspiration from Italy. The country’s influence on his designs is what led to his current stock of clothing. But where does he hope that these inspirations take his work?

He has expressed admiration for the quality materials he saw in Italy and stated that he wanted to create a lifestyle brand that brings people together. He has already done this through his following on social media, as he said that many of his friends have tagged themselves wearing his clothing.

He seems to want his clothing line to continue to bring people together in this way. He has stated that other influencers have aided him in reaching and expanding his audience- something that would not have been possible without a lot of fans to back his brand.

Those who wear God’s Dream enjoy the unique designs and the sense of community surrounding the fashion line. His lifestyle brand is bringing people closer all the time.

Conclusion

Alec Kesheshian’s lifestyle clothing line, God’s Dream, is heavily influenced by international countries. He has mentioned that traveling is very important to him, as it allows him to learn and experience new traditions.

He has also stated that Italy had a major impact on his choice to start up his business. After seeing the rich history and culture of the country, he was inspired to build his clothing line. When returning from the Amalfi Coast, he got to work right away on building his brand and prescience on social media.
