Pastor Tony Jones says that the end of the year is always a good time to pause, to look back with thanks, and to look forward with hope. Through 2023 the  Lord has grown Trinity Central Church and we give thanks for our gifted and dedicated team of pastors Jeff, Michael Zach, and Sam. The kids have had a great year in youth group, as well as in their Sunday school and the Young Adults’ ministry continues to flourish, at their First Sunday monthly gatherings at the Broad  Street Grind. In the summer our constitution was ratified securing robust, Biblical, and transparent governance from a  plurality of elders, and we have received two rounds of new members. We give thanks for our November baptisms, and for the wonderful news that one of our number Brionna, who was baptized has only just come to Christ, through the ministry of  Trinity Central Church this year.

I am amazed at the skill set we have resident amongst us from those with skills ranging from the practical to catering, to AV,  to pastoral care, to kids’ and youth ministry, to leadership,  hospitality, oversight, teaching, administrative, and financial abilities. I am so grateful to all of you who have partnered so sacrificially, and who have worked so hard in 2023.

Pastor Tony Jones notes that our aim as a Church is to glorify God by knowing Christ and making him known across the earth, as we seek to reach, build and send. Specifically, we have identified and committed ourselves to six core values to enable this great goal, and they are, gospel-centeredness because we want the saving work of  Jesus the Lord to be the sole focus across the life of the whole church, expository preaching because as the Scriptures are faithfully taught week by week God’s voice is heard Biblical discipleship. After all, we long to have our minds renewed in clear reformed theology training us to serve effectively, healthy community because we belong to the TCC  church family and long to serve our brothers and sisters growing together into godly maturity in Christ, global l mission because the Great Commission is to proclaim the gospel of Christ to all people to the ends of the earth, and prayerful dependence because we are God’s children, weak in ourselves and we are dependent on our the Lord’s grace for everything.

We give thanks that Trinity Central Church has robust governance, a committed core, stable finances, and a clear vision and that we are prayerfully poised to see significant growth under God. Let’s pray that the Lord would advance his kingdom,  grow his people, save the lost, and glorify his name in 2024 at  TCC. Join us in praying for another fruitful year as we continue

to partner together in the gospel for another year for the building of the church to the glory of God.
