In this younger generation, everyone wants to be known as an individual and make their own identity. This is the generation who wants to go out there in the world and struggle and work hard to make their name. Jan Jens – a guy who had everything settled for him being a son of a multi-million dollar businessman in Germany is also one such person. Despite having everything set up for him on a silver platter, Jan wanted to do something of his own. He was aspired to become an individual businessman apart from his father and his family business.

Jan Jens wanted to start his own company and his brand. He always dreamt of starting his own business. When Jan Jens went for a holiday in Miami, he had a bad experience during his vacation because of the concierge company’s poor customer service. This experience developed an idea in his mind about thinking of it from a business perspective. He has observed and found lots of flaws in the concierge service provider of that area.

It made him think about all the things about how he can solve this problem and turn it into a business just by providing better service than what was being delivered. Starting off the market wasn’t easy as there were many challenges in front to set up a company in a different country. Jan Jens had to live in Miami to study the market on ground level so that he can start fresh and bring a new and refreshing experience for the customers through his company.

After studying the market and the taste of Miami, Jan was ready with a plan to start his company. Jan Jens founded his own concierge company named Jatina Group. His primary focus was to give a flawless and comfortable service to his clients.

He wanted to give the kind of service that sets him apart from other competitors in the market and create a space for him and also increases his brand value by providing value to the clients for their money.

In this process, Jan Jens got connected to people who helped him connect with top celebrities in the music industry and famous athletes. His clientele includes celebrities like Drake, Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Mark Wahlberg, Kevin Hart, etc. This celebrity connection gave him the exposure that he needed to grow as a brand, and it helped him a lot to grow as an individual. His concierge company, Jatina Group, has substantially increased over the years. In 2018 they did $7.5 million in total sales by leveraging platforms like Airbnb and HomeAway. In 2019, they are projected to do $10.5 – $11 million in sales.

Today Jan Jens, with his entrepreneurial skills, has built a multi-million dollar business and made a name for himself. If it isn’t for his will to create his own identity and space, he would still be working in his father’s company, and he would just be known as a son of a businessman, not as a self-made individual. Everyone should have an approach in his/her life to create an identity for themselves to be remembered in this world. The self-respect and pride that comes with it is just something every human being always craves for, and it set us apart from the other millions of people around the world.
