Grant Mitterlehner is a self-made entrepreneur, currently the CEO of two leading companies.

He was born on August 14, 1995, in Houston, Texas. Belonging to a middle-class family, Mitterlehner struggled during his university years in Brooklyn. He was enrolled in ASA College in Brooklyn, New York, but unfortunately dropped out due to financial circumstances.

New York being one of the most expensive places to live in America, made his financial conditions even worse, which is why he moved back to Houston, Texas, to live with his mother. At this point, Mitterlehner was totally broke. But, little did he know this would become the turning point of his life.

Grant Mitterlehner hoped to continue his degree in his hometown, but all universities denied accepting his credits, which meant he would have to start as a freshman yet again. In order to meet his daily expenses, he started working as an Uber driver for a short while. Luckily, he landed a commission-based sales job in a company in Fort Worth, Texas, which initially helped him cope with all his everyday expenses. However, his expertise and skills made him climb the corporate ladder in a very short time, and he rose from the position of Regional Sales Manager to Managing Director in just a year.

At this point, most individuals would have the sense of fulfillment many people long for. But, this was not the case for Mitterlehner. He knew he was not using his full potential and wanted to live more than just a life based on a salary job. So, he soon quit his job!

Mitterlehner’s zealous demeanor did not allow him to settle for less. He wished to start his own venture in the solar industry and wanted to change the way people perceive renewable energy. So, at just 24 years of age, he founded his first-ever company, MittGroup, with $148,000 in his bank account.

MittGroup is a solar energy company considered the solar industry’s powerhouse. In 2021, the company had revenue growth of 107% and was able to gain a yearly revenue of around $1.5 million. Not only this, but because of Mitterlehner’s idea of having the perfect work environment for all his employees, MittGroup was awarded #1 best place to work for employees by the Houston Business Journal.

Only a year later, Mitterlehner was able to launch his second company, Mitt Blockchain. Mitt Blockchain is a crypto mining company focusing mainly on Bitcoin and Ethereum. He also regularly appears on Fox News to share his valuable insights into the crypto industry.

Mitterlehner’s success story would not have been possible if it weren’t for all the obstacles he faced. From being forced to drop out of college due to lack of funds to starting over, he was unstoppable.

“I don’t think there has been a week, or much less a day where I haven’t had to overcome some obstacle”, says Mitt.
