Roach Killa is one of the coolest artistes I have worked with: K Zie

Popular UK-based musician K Zie is coming up with a new single on July 10. Titled ‘Come My Way’, the uptempo party number is a rap collaboration between internationally renowned rapper Roach Killa and K Zie.

Ask him how the collaboration with Roach Killa happened, and K Zie says that he was in Dubai when the song’s music producer, Sumneet, sent him the song. He ideated and wrote his sections of the song the same evening. That’s when he realised that Roach Killa was the perfect fit for the track and this is what he told his manager, who happened to be good friends with Roach Killa. So they just jammed, and when he got the vibe, he got on board for the track.

K Zie says that he had a great time working with Roach Killa. Sharing the experience, he says, “It was amazing. Roach is one of the coolest and most humble artistes I have worked with. It was a pleasure writing and recording with him, and also being on set with him.”

K Zie has collaborated with several big artistes over the years. In fact, his track, ‘One In A Million’, was produced by Billboard hitmaker Vee Music (famously known for his hit single Lahore by Guru Randhawa). But he considers ‘Come My Way’ very different. He says this song is different from his previous releases, as a lot of his singles have been solo numbers. This is the first single that features him and an internationally recognised rapper (Roach Killa). The song also has a party-like energy that makes it gripping.
