We had the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with Zack “ROI” Williams, and we were underprepared for what we learned.
Let us just say though, it makes a lot more sense on how he is able to be making the moves he has been in the business industry, as quickly as he has. Zack has made a name for himself in a very short amount of time, and after we learned more about who he really is, we are not surprised. We originally wanted to find out about how Zack has become such an incredible digital marketing strategist and worked for some of the world’s largest brands, but after talking with him, we see how easy it is to fall in love with him.
Zack originally got our attention from working with Red Bull, Harley Davidson, Mountain Dew, Hard Rock Cafe, Ford Motor company and many more, but also by the insane growth of his Digital Marketing company ROI Marketing Firm. However, very quickly into speaking with him, we instantly could tell why people gravitated to him, and why he had such a drive to succeed in building his name in the business world.
We asked Zack when he gave us some very alarming history of his life how he made it out with the mindset he had, and this was his humble answer: “ We all have been through our own struggles, hardships, and worst nightmares. I am not one to say anyone’s battle is easier or harder than the other, because in that particular moment, we are all fighting through it the best we can and it feels like it’s the worst thing we have ever experienced. Yeah, what I have been through I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but I will also say that it’s given me the drive I have today to make sure that no matter what, I will succeed.”
This quote came shortly after us speaking with Zack and finding out during his first attempt in the entrepreneurial world his highschool sweetheart who he had been with for over 6 years, and was married to (at the time), as the “mother of his child”, had a secret that she had been hiding. Zack came home one day while running his business to find out that his “4 month old child” wasn’t his, and his wife (at the time) had known all along. “The entire time I was trying to build an empire for us, she was out enjoying her life, and now looking back, that was the best thing she could have ever done for me.” Zack continued to explain why, but we will cover that a little later.
Now to us that sounded like enough to ruin anyone’s dreams of building a business. However, we wish we could say that was the end of the horror story, but it isn’t. A few short months after that tragedy, Zack was on his way home riding his Harley, when his entire life flashed before his eyes. “I was heading home, living my life like it was just a normal day, not knowing that I was going to be receiving a life lesson on will power.”
Zack was hit head on by a car. Causing $1.2MM in medical bills. “I was in the hospital for 6 weeks, and when I got home, there was a $660,000 surgery bill waiting on me. Some of my bills beat me out of the hospital.” Zack laughed. “The motorcycle wreck subsequently led me to lose my house, lose my car, lose 2 Harleys, lose a 6 figure job, bankrupt my business, my credit score went from a 820 to a 480. You name it, I lost it” Zack stated.
“Here I was, broke, without everything I had ever built, and without the ones I thought I was building it for.” “I knew this wasn’t going to be the end of me though, I wasn’t going to let it. I knew I had good friends and family surrounding me, and I had something that none of that could take away from me. DRIVE”
“I didn’t know it then, but that wasn’t the path for me, and those weren’t the ones who were supposed to be by my side with me. I am now super proud to say that I have the most amazing wife, and the most beautiful baby girl any man can ask for. Thanks to them, and their motivation, accompanied by my determination, we own multiple thriving businesses, and are living our best life.”
Zack “ROI” Williams gets his name from the incredible “Return On Investment” he has been able to produce for his client’s within his full spectrum digital marketing agency ROI Marketing Firm. However, Zack has started down the path to take this one step further and bring it back to business owners, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Ones like him, all those years ago. Zack wanted to take his drive and give back.
