Most of the potential patients who would like to have a nose job have a tendency to get rid of the nasal hump. Otorhinolaryngology specialist Prof. Dr. Köksal Yuca indicates that most common nose job problem is regarding beak nose and he warns the people that consider to grind down the beak noses to fix the nose problem: ‘ Aplying only grinding down method, internal part of the nose can be exposed. Existing a beak nose can be a sign for other internal nose problems and it can be required different medical applications.

Having a beak nose that can be generated by the nature of the birth or any kind of accident is a estetical problem. Otorhinolaryngology specialist Prof. Dr. Köksal Yuca indicates about the beak nose surgeries that beak nose surgeries can mostly be requested for the esthetical looking concern. Beak nose is the first perceived problem in a face that affects the estetic of a nose in a negative way. Fixing a beak nose can be applied by a general or a locak anaesthesia. Beak noses mostly can be fixed during other nose surgeries. Surplus parts can be applied by the grinding or ultrasonic devises.

Prof. Dr. Köksal Yuca says that every grinding down process cannot be applicable for every patients. He explained the cause: commonly seen thich beak nose forms can be caused to different formal disorders. Edge of a nose can be faced to the down part of the face in a high amount of a beak nose. Nose can be seen thinner, it depends on the cackling and thinckness. This situation can be disturbing.

DIFERENT PROBLEMS CAN BE RELEASED WITHIN THE BEAK NOSE

Prof. Dr. Köksal Yuca pointed out that if only the nasal arch is removed or the rasp is applied, significant problems may occur: “If only the beak nose is removed or the rasp is applied, the nasal roof can be opened and the problem of open roof deformity occurs. As the filing process for correcting the nasal arch progresses, a downward flat shape is obtained and there is no suitable result for the anatomical structure of the nose. For this reason, it will not be correct to perform only nose filing. It is necessary to act by considering the general result and to proceed by repairing other parts as it is removed. Beak nose correction is a method to be applied in conjunction with other surgical procedures. If there is an arch over a nose, different internal problems are usually also detected. With the evacuation of the area covered by the beak, different reinforcements and balancing processes will come to the fore.

SENSITIVE PROCESS

Prof. Dr. Yuca, gave some strategies for the solutions of beak noses: “Firstly, existing cartilage and nose thickness are examined. A simulation work is presented after detecting of the height and the thickness of the nose. Grinding down process can be applied after definition of the patient’s and doctor’s requirements. This operation requires detailed work to protect the nature of the nose. Amount of decrease on the beak nose can be defined by the face measurements. One applied area in the nose can be required for another operation for a other area in the nose, because the edge of the nose can be needed another application to protect the shape of it, hence a lifting or a strecthing can be applied. Fixing a beak nose within preventing other problems in the nose requires a sensitive attempt and process and a accurate doctor selection to provide a desired nose.
