Modern Couples are Looking for ‘Experience’ Wedding Gifts to Create Lifetime Lasting Moments

Wedding ideas for the Modern couple have undergone a change. Guests used to simply select a gift idea from the wedding gift registry that was compiled by the couple to ensure no duplicate wedding gifts but now the ideas direct from the couple include cash as the major gift or such wedding gifts that they can remember in future anniversaries. So that traditional gifts such as bed linen, silverware, and china shouldn’t necessarily be the only or obvious choice.

The couple have mostly been living together before their marriage so they have the practical things done for their homes. They are now looking at having a piece of art be it a painting, sculpture or photograph that would last a lifetime as a gift. It is seen as a good investment if the piece is bought from an upcoming artist. Having said this it is also necessary to take into account that an art piece can be outrageously expensive for a wedding present, even more so if it belongs to a well-known artist or is a commissioned work. The couples have also been suggesting their guests to collaborate and buy them a wedding gift if it is too pricey. Sources like giftgaemall are coming handy when searching for perfect wedding gifts for the couples.

Certain couples are looking towards ‘experience’ as a gift over tangible articles like a hotel spa membership or tickets to exotic places for their honeymoon. Gifting the couple a membership to their favorite brand hotel members club will give them access to a range of complimentary extras, upgrades, and gifts. Or booking an experience gift like a helicopter ride, or a sunrise hot air balloon experience, a cookery or dance class will create memories that will last a lifetime. Couples are looking forward to them over dull crockery or home furniture gifts which they will obviously buy for themselves.
