This curiosity led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a master’s degree in Computer Science, providing a solid foundation for her career.
Before joining Guardant Health, Deepika honed her skills at Opera Solutions and Deloitte, where she gained a reputation for her meticulous approach to software testing. Her work involved documenting bug reproduction paths, understanding their origins, and ensuring they never reappeared, laying the groundwork for her future accomplishments.
“Part of this early success was due to my belief in sacrificing nothing in the pursuit of excellence,” says Deepika. “As I sometimes told my team, the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. Never phone it in.”
