When Console Vault released its flagship Transporter™ in 2007 to provide ultra-secure and convenient on-the-go storage, it used the same heavy-gauge steel in its in-vehicle safes. Just in time for 2022’s holiday season, the company releases its new and improved Transporter™.

The new model boasts an enhanced cable storage feature, additional key-lock options, and an improved pluckable foam insert. The Transporter™ delivers quality, durability, and the freedom to safely transport items between any car, truck, RV, boat, and home.

Console Vault’s new Transporter™ secures firearms

“When you are on the go, our Transporter™ allows you to be confident that your firearms are safely stored,” says Scott Bonvusutto, co-founder of Console Vault. “You lock your firearms up for safety at home, but securing them on the go when you can’t carry is just as important. People buy guns to protect themselves, but when they allow those guns to be stolen, they put themselves and their communities in danger.”

During 2019 and 2020, 180 cities reported increased gun thefts from vehicles. In fact, out of 77,000 gun thefts in 2020, over half were stolen from vehicles. This statistic stands in sharp contrast to facts from a decade earlier when the majority of gun thefts were from home burglaries and less than a quarter from cars.

“Locking your car is not enough,” warns Bonvusutto. “All it takes is a few moments for a criminal to break a window and grab an unsecured handgun from your vehicle.”

Console Vault understands the importance of in-vehicle firearm safety and created the new-and-improved Transporter™ to provide secure, temporary vehicle gun storage. “We have designed hundreds of console safe applications specifically for certain models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles,” says Bonvusutto. “Still, we know we aren’t able to offer them for every vehicle out there. That’s why we created the Transporter™. It is our universal option for transporting firearms and valuables on the go in any type of vehicle.”

About the new Console Vault Transporter™

Just like the original flagship model, Console Vault’s enhanced Transporter™ is built from the same heavy-gauge steel as the fully installed in-vehicle console safes. It is available with a variety of locking mechanisms and boasts the company’s unique Triple Guard Locking System™.

Key features of the Transporter™ include:

  • Built from 12-gauge steel
  • Meets highest OEM quality Standards
  • Heavy-duty coated steel cable with storage
  • Triple Guard Lock System™ to prevent entry
  • Variety of locking mechanisms to choose from
  • Free shipping anywhere in the contiguous United States
  • Backed by Lifetime Warranty

“Our customers protect their belongings and their communities,” Bonvusutto says. “When you store weapons responsibly at home and on the go, you make everyone around you safer. The launch of Console Vault’s new Transporter™ guarantees convenience, freedom, and safety when transporting firearms in any vehicle.”
