One thing you’re going to want to plan before you arrive in the city is securing New York City luggage storage. New York is a walking city, which means that you’re not going to want to be bogged down with heavy bags as you make your way to different popular landmarks. If you want to visit New York City like a pro, opt to book New York City luggage storage online beforehand, so you’ll have a place to drop your bags and explore to the fullest.

There are plenty of options for New York City luggage storage too: in addition to hotels, there are many convenience stores, bars, and restaurants that offer up their excess storage space as luggage storage. As such, you’ll want to find a New York City luggage storage service that has locations available near the attractions you want to visit, so you can easily leave your bags and pick them up after your excursion. Many New York City luggage storage facilities are located next to major subway stations as well, so you can get your bags and hop on the train to your next destination. In addition to this, New York City luggage storage is affordable too: typically people end up paying about five dollars per day per bag. With deals like that, there’s no reason not to seek out New York City luggage storage.

Visit Times Square

While it may get a tourist trap reputation, it’s popular for good reason! Times Square is truly something to behold: its huge, brightly lit screens and giant retail shops are astounding, especially if you’re visiting for the first time. Time Square is also a fun place to visit to check out some of New York’s eccentric street performers and experience the epicenter of New York culture. If you’re a night owl, Times Square occasionally does midnight art exhibits, during which all the billboards become displays for interactive art pieces. Yes, it’s a busy area, but if you want to do your first trip to New York right, you’ve gotta join the crowd.

See a Broadway Show

New York City is famous for being the home of Broadway, where brilliant plays and musicals are performed every day. Seeing a show on Browdway means that you’re going to be watching the best of the best perform onstage. You can get tickets to a Broadway show ahead of time, or try your luck at the TKTS booth in Times Square, where leftover tickets are sold at a discount price.

Enjoy a New York Hot Dog

One of New York City’s simple pleasures is the prevalence of hot dog vendors all up and down the city’s many blocks. Sure, it’s not fine dining (though there’s plenty of that in New York City too!), but having a real New York hot dog is an experience in itself. Get yourself a nice, hot brat and stroll on down to our next must-see spot…

Take a Stroll Through Central Park

Central Park! One of New York’s most recognizable landmarks, Central Park is an 843 acre urban park between the Upper West Side and Upper East Side of Manhattan. Central Park is a perfect place to plan a picnic on your trip, or for little ones to run around if you’re traveling with children. Additionally, Central Park is full of statues and famous artwork that you’ll absolutely want to check out. If you’re headed to New York City in the summer, you just might be able to catch a Shakespeare in the Park show at the Delacorte Theater, located on the Central Park grounds.

Time to Make the Big Apple Your Own!

Now that you’ve gotten some tips on what to do and see while you’re in New York City, it’s time to get ready to visit and make the Big Apple your own. Before you depart, be sure to secure New York City luggage storage, so you can easily drop your bags and start exploring the minute you arrive. Once you’re settled, you can check out Times Square, go see a show on Broadway, take time to chow down on a signature New York hot dog, and meander through Central Park to your heart’s content. These are just a handful of some of the best things to do while in New York City, and with a little exploring, we’re sure you’ll discover even more attractions that make the city as magical as it is.
