The current generation has grown up hearing how technological and digital advancements have isolated humankind. People are always on their phones and computers having no social skills or real world connections. However, the immense power and influence of technology cannot be denied under any circumstances. Idris Lura is someone who utilised this same power to eliminate the fundamental issue of isolation.

Also known as the forth worth King of Tech, Idris Lura has devoted enormous amounts of time, hard-work and dedication into making ‘Letsgrub’, a business whose sole purpose is to improve connectivity through technology in real-time. What is the thing that people all over the world have in common? The answer is love for food. It had suddenly struck Idris one day that he could use this mutual interest in food and transform it into a unified cultural hub where people can talk and bond with each other. This innovative idea can be partly attributed to his early childhood days, during which he was always fascinated to meet and get to know new people. Fast forwarding to his college years, his interest shifted to the world of tech and its applications. He believed that it was an ever growing field which was bound to improve human lives to a great extent. Since then, the technical and digital industry has massively progressed. Idris too wanted to be a part of this revolutionary field and this prompted him to launch his startup five years back. Although presently he is a successful entrepreneur, his journey was not an easy one free of obstacles. Born in Australia, Idris moved to Texas in the United States in 2005. Changing countries was not an easy task for him. His entire world had changed overnight and it was difficult to adjust to the new life. However, he relentlessly strived and put everything he had into making his dream a reality. This finally gave birth to Letsgrub, one of the most successful companies in the tech world whose present worth is over 11 million dollars.

As someone who had started from scratch, Idris has proved that background and circumstances do not matter in the path to achieving success. His company Letsgrub is a platform where people can meet new people everyday and have a good time. At the end of the day, there is nothing better than having a good time with your favourite people over a plate of tasty food.
