Mary AJ’s debut novel, Vagabond, has just been declared as the December 2021 Book of the Month by OnlineBookClub.org. In an official announcement made by Scott Hughes, founder of OnlineBookClub.org, Mary AJ’s first-ever novel has been bestowed with the honour for its riveting script and storyline.

Mary AJ was on cloud nine once the news was announced. “To be honest, I’m falling short of words to describe how I am feeling right now. The feeling hasn’t really sunk in yet. I got 4-out-of-4 stars from an official OnlineBookClub.org reviewer. My book has also been declared December 2021 book of the month. I couldn’t ask for more. I am thrilled and still awestruck with this achievement,” Mary AJ exclaimed.

Mary AJ, the literary debutant, has come out with her debut book ‘Vagabond,’ a few months back. Though she put in a lot of effort and worked tremendously hard for it, she never imagined that she would accomplish something like this in her very first literary endeavour.

Vagabond is a dark fantasy novel, which revolves around the life of Satan’s daughter Cecilia Harrow. The story takes an interesting turn when Cecilia decides to escape the underworld and live the life of an ordinary woman on earth. The main climax of the story comes when she pushes herself to the limit to save the life of someone who she loves immensely. It would be interesting to see how she could save the love of her life—whether she will succeed in it or not—will it preserve humanity or let the merciless Princess of Hell run amok.

Vagabond is published by Cayélle Publishing and was released in September 2021. Ever since its launch, the book has received consistent positive reviews from other book reviewers and literary enthusiasts.

“Readers across the world have liked my work. With whatever little information provided on the Amazon book page, I could clearly see the enthusiasm among readers. They have appreciated the central plot of Vagabond. I have avoided reading simple and plain stories revolving around one-dimension characters since my childhood. I always prefer reading a novel having a grey-shaded character or someone who exhibits both right and wrong. She believes her grey character can burn the world or they may save the world,” Mary AJ said.

Mary AJ believes she wants to write about a grey-shaded character in her stories, who would take on all challenges and even endanger their lives for one last kiss or goodbye. She believes writing about misunderstood villains is far more challenging and exciting than writing about heroes who stand for a damsel in distress.

In an exclusive interview with OnlineBookClub.org, Mary revealed that Vagabond is actually a trilogy and she has already started writing its second installment. She is also hopeful that her other installments of the series will also be liked and appreciated by the readers and book reviewers worldwide.

This year, OnlineBookClub.org is celebrating its 16th anniversary. It has over two million active readers as its members. OnlineBookClub.org is a one-stop literary junction for people who love reading. Its members include readers, book reviewers, publishers, and writers.

Anybody can be its member by submitting a quick online form. People who can write honest book reviews can also join the club as book reviewers and win free books or money for their services. For authors and publishers, there are multiple ways to promote their work and increase their ROIs.

Scott Hughes, owner and founder of OnlineBookClub.org, recently finished a term as an elected member of the Manchester, CT Board of Education. He’s also a poet, published author, and someone who is passionate about literature, books, novels, and intellectual debates.
