Shubhankar Mishra is a talented young man who is a Tv News Anchor/Special Correspondent and Digital Influencer by profession. Presently, he works as a news anchor for Tv9 Bharatvarsh News Channel. He was born in Gonda located in Uttar Pradesh on 10th April 1993. He was brought up in two cities- Lucknow and Delhi. His favourite hobbies include travelling to different places, reading books, listening to music, watching the news and movies and playing Cricket. He is a common man and does not have any exclusive family background. He made a name for himself through his continuous effort and hard work. He described himself as a common Man doing Calm se kaam.

Talking about his educational background, he did his schooling at the prestigious St. Xaviers School. His father wished for his son to become an engineer. This is why Shubhankar pursued B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering for four years. He completed his graduation course from Galgotias University in Uttar Pradesh. However, after completing this, Shubhankar conveyed his dream of being a journalist to his father which did not go down well with him. Despite his father’s disapproval, Shubhankar enrolled himself in a journalism college. Initially, he worked for regional news channels such as India News Haryana, India News Uttar Pradesh or Uttarakhand, etc.

Shubhankar’s journey has not been an easy one. However, he does not let the hurdles define him. Thus, he shared his motivation source, “There’s only one life. Every day is a new day. So wake up and live all your dreams. You never know Kal ho Na Ho.” This mantra has always prepared him for new days with new challenges. Besides this, his mother is his mentor who has always stood by him through thick and thin. As a journalist, he gets to work on exciting and interesting events every day. On being asked about what he likes the most in this field, Shubhankar replied, “Every day you have to do a new work. Everything is tempting.”

One event that was the highest point in his career was reporting from Tiger Hills. If you are unaware of why this place is significant, it is because Kargil happened here. Thus, he got a chance to report from one of the most historic places in India. He is also the youngest National News anchor who has done ground reporting for over 15 states in India. Truly, Shubhankar has done a lot in his field of work.
