Slick Pusha was reportedly arrested in early January while on the way to a recording session in Pennsylvania. He was pulled over and searched for the smell of marijuana as the car’s passenger. A loaded .45 Sig Sauer handgun, 28 grams of hash, and paraphernalia was seized and confiscated. The state of New Jersey does not treat gun possession lightly and the 2nd degree gun possession felony could possibly carry a heavy 5-10-year sentence. This issue comes at unfortunate timing for the hip-hop artist/rapper who currently has several major deals on the table.

Following the charges, Slick Pusha wasted no time and released a 5 song EP titled “.45 Fully Loaded” on 1/23/21 in which the mugshot was used as the project’s cover art.

Additionally, a new music video to Soundcloud hit “Tru5t” was also released following the arrest. Watch that here ->
