Alessandro Cassano: The Positive Influence Martial Arts Can Have on the Future of Kids Enrolled in the Activity

As kids, many of us were signed up for after school activities, such as scouts or soccer. One of the most popular options was karate, and countless kids still partake in it today. There are multiple benefits that come from signing children up for the activity, and just a few include stronger self-control and concentration, better coordination, and overall improved mental and physical health.

Karate is a great way for kids to learn the necessary skills needed to eventually become a capable adult. And for those who find a genuine passion in the activity, it can become more than a hobby. Take Alessandro Cassano for example—an Italy-based personal trainer who earned his black belt in karate as a kid, before moving to the martial art of Wing Tsun and being awarded a blue shirt by the European WingTsun Organisation.

It was 2008 when Alessandro was awarded the shirt, and that moment inspired him greatly. Seeing how far he had come encouraged him to start training others with the skills he had acquired over his lifetime, and he eventually earned his personal training diploma to officially do so. Since then, he has pushed himself to become the best version of himself possible, which he’s done by educating himself on different systems of fitness.

In April of 2020, Alessandro earned his specialization in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), which is where one studies the systems used by successful individuals before applying them to their own goals. Incorporating NLP into his sessions and programs has been highly beneficial for clients, and Alessandro encourages other trainers to look into the topic for themselves.

Alessandro’s unique techniques and out-of-the-box thinking have earned him the attention of a few professional athletes, including footballers Marco Marchionni, Amauri, and Gianni Munari, as well as rugby player Giambattista Venditti. Another popular figure Alessandro works with is professional fighter Matteo Azzali, and this is where his lifelong hobby of martial arts has come in handy.

Alessandro shares his techniques with those interested on his website and social media, such as Facebook and Instagram. He also actively posts inspiring and upbeat content, encouraging his clients and followers throughout their fitness journeys. The pandemic has forced him to take all of his work online, but it’s clear he’s taken it in stride and continues to push positivity.

On top of his passion for fitness, he’s a big believer in helping others achieve all of their goals. The importance of respect and unity for Alessandro goes back to his days of learning karate, and he credits a lot of his success to his childhood filled with martial arts. It goes to show that putting children in the activity can have a positive effect on their futures, whether they continue it into adulthood or not.
