ItsENJ, a musical group by Bronx-based Nigerian artists, has released its debut EP titled, “Born On The Moon”. The 7-track EP takes every listener on an exclusive journey and it introduces them to challenging circumstances prevailing in Nigeria.

ItsENJ has very delicately worked out this EP as it has included versatile and unique music styles into it. The EP showcases the unique culture of Nigeria and the challenges that Nigerian people face in their daily routine due to the corrupt system they’re living in.

“Born On the Moon” is based on the time period during the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, when the group members & brothers, Chimdi & OTITO, aka “The DAPPER DUO”, were stuck there due to the coronavirus pandemic. The lyrics, vocals, and music elements are selected very beautifully by ItsENJ, and they express deep emotions in songs in a clear manner.

The EP “Born On The Moon” reflects the tough experiences of Nigerian people in a daily routine. ItsENJ has described Nigeria as “the moon”, as its culture gives them a feeling of alienation. The two brothers have introduced a new world of music through their exceptional musical styles.

Both are Nigerian immigrants and Bronx residents, their music is influenced by a melting pot of cultures including African, Caribbean, and Hispanic, to name a few. ItsENJ has got a unique background and it embraces openness in the global music world, which adds the cutting edge of versatility and individuality to their music.

The two artists possess many skills to which they have made their name as songwriters, music producers, recording/performing artists, and creative directors. Even Chimdi & OTITO have also started a production company, ENJ Productions, which enjoys an extensive list of clients.
