Nerdy 90s arcade sounds and samples mixing with modern baselines and 808s are building the perfect platform for Joey Luxx to show us what he’s made of and where he stands as an artists in 2020.
And he stands in the spotlight, that’s for sure. We’re impressed with his ability to transit from catchy verses to melodic hooks and vice versa. His recipe seems simple but he plays his game with such confidence and the right amount of creativity, that you can’t really help but fall for it.
What can we say? The standout single ‘Solar’ has huge Billboard potential and we are pretty sure to see future releases amongst those headlines.
His sound and engineering introduces a beautiful mix of retro sounds and samples that give you a feeling of placing Space Impact in your early 90’s childhood bedroom again. These are beautifully merged with modern heavy 808s and hi-hats.

The development Malcolm Parrish aka Joey Luxx has made from his first steps in music to the fully grown artist he now already presents himself to be, is radical and impressive.
