Ace Connell is the bearded Co-owner of The Tattoo Studio “Regenerates,” along with Chris Sally. Both of them have made great efforts to make the studio a carefree getaway. Ace was trained by none other than Samantha Youssef, who is an ex-Disney animator.

Both of them believed that nature is the best artist. Ace has always been bound with nature. His primary inspiration comes from nature. He says that the process of tattooing is like imitating the flow of nature’s creation. That’s why he has been inclined towards wildlife tattoos.

Nature has been his muse. Even during the 4 months of lockdown when the tattoo studio was closed, Ace Connell did not give up on his passion and created art. He is also an avid reader; his goal is to read 52 books this year. Ace Connell has already completed 42 books so far, so one can say he is near accomplishing his goals.

Other than nature and books, he is also greatly inspired by people. Ace says that he loves people who are really into what they do. If anyone loves writing and is into it, he gets inspired by it. He has many tattoo artists who inspire him. But it is mostly the 2D artists who hold a piece of his heart.

Ace Connell is a massive fan of old 2D animators like Milt Kahl, Frank and Ollie, Tex Avery, and Bob Clampett. Classic American illustrators like Norman Rockwell are also his thing. When it comes to modern artists, he has friends such as Samantha Youssef and Jason Seiler, who inspire him.

Inspiration comes from the weirdest of places. For Ace, it may come to an art gallery or a forest. It all depends on what mood he is in.
