“Success to me is doing what you love and being authentic whilst you do it. We all require meaning in our life and I believe you are successful when you have found that purpose and commit your life to it.” ___Toni Jones.

You can thoroughly know about Kai Schoene with this one single quote. This young boy started his career as a graphic designer in Germany and progressed his way to serve as an art director in Bremen, Germany. To test the limits of his passion and zeal for his profession, he left his job and moved to Switzerland. With his strong conviction and persistent struggle, he founded his own company to enliven the experience of his clientele’s story. Through his famous projects, “yourcarstory” and “yourcompanystory” he films the story about the cars, ventures or organizations in an emotional way, to help them reach their desired targets.

Often, Kai has been found preaching the idea that living your best life doesn’t always mean how much wealth or material possessions you have. Living your best life is actually about surrounding yourself with meaningful people who add value, peace and warmth to your life. And more importantly it is about spending your time in doing fulfilling things, things that don’t make your tired and worn out. It’s also about demonstrating your peace of mind from you actions and your influence on others.

The major twist in Kai’s entrepreneurial journey is when he left behind his marvelous position of art director in his hometown, Germany and shifted to Switzerland for exploring new dimensions of his creativity process. This is something that differentiates ordinary from extraordinary. Easier said than done, leaving one’s comfort zone demands courage and a backbone to get ready for the unexpected circumstances. As the saying goes, ‘Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end,’ where on needs to persevere in efforts to see that glorious end result of the change.

This testing time after his emigration to Switzerland, where he has no one with him but himself, made him discover that he can go far beyond than what he imagined. His arduous journey also tells us that one should not depend on other people, a job, or any external factor for one’s success and advancement. In order to grow without bounds, you have to be your own fortress. Real progress takes time, commitment and an unwavering belief in oneself.

Another important lesson that his life story teaches is that, life is too short to self-reject your passion away. If you are best at something or are impassioned to learn and make your way to the top in you niche, then you must take a leap of faith

Despite being a German national, he made his way to the winners list, of the Swiss Men’s Award at seventh position, in 2019. This competition is about choosing Mister Right from a pool of influential personalities of Switzerland. In words of Kai, (from his social media account), “When someone tells you, ‘it’s not possible’, remember, these are his limits, not yours.”

Another commonality of successful people is that their story deeply inspires the readers no matter which walk of life they do belong. They have this sense of giving back to the world even if it is simply a motivational aroma arising from their inspirational story.

With his creative journey, Kai says that, ‘you have to define your own meaning of success. It’s the quintessential factor for success. If you do not know what success looks like for you, then you are climbing the wrong ladder.’

As the great Gilbert Melott says, “Success is risk without fear and reward measured not just by dollars but by the time I create to enjoy those rewards.” This is what Kai Schoene proves with his untiring efforts of reaching the top of his profession.
