If people learned to be resilient and positive in everything they do, the world would become a much better place for all of us. John Hayes, or mostly known as Johnny Positive, is changing the world through teaching people of all ages resilience and positivity.

Before becoming a motivational speaker, writer, and positive psychology coach for teenagers, young adults, and middle-aged people, Johnny served for 20 years as a certified resiliency trainer for the US Army Reserves. In 2010, he returned from Iraq and wanted to continue coaching.

Along with his wife, Kristine, they built a gymnastics club called Cartwheels that later on became a positive space for kids to do sports in a safe, fun, and motivating environment that allowed them to do what they love to do. Besides developing their skills in gymnastics, life lessons were also taught, such as perseverance, courage, endurance, judgment, decisiveness, leadership, listening, and taking directions.

After building Cartwheels into a space for kids and teenagers to become resilient and positive, Johnny realized that he wanted to do so much more.

Looking back, Johnny went through so much in his life. From his compelling experience through two wars, he has been through real negativity and even PTSD but, he was able to educate himself and work through lasting change that made him who he is now. He wanted to help others to navigate through the anxiety, despair, and struggle just as he did.

So he then made it his mission to educate people on how to break free from adversity, turn your life around, remain productive in their communities, jobs, and in their homes. He provides people with tools so that anyone can manage to go from a place of anger, despair, to a place of awe, zest, and long-lasting happiness.

Today, as a resiliency trainer and positive psychology coach, he is bringing lasting change to his home, work, and community. His mission is to teach people to come together to make a positive change. People have been dealing with feeling ill physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and being so negative in everything they do and with those that are around us. For Johnny it doesn’t have to be this way. You can turn your life around through positivity, optimism, and resilience.

“Positivity is all about wellness. Being happier will help you get on with your day in a more productive way. Having a spring in your step will become an everyday thing. You may notice that you smile more, have less chronic pain, have better relationships, and just feel good. Your home, work, and community will thrive when positivity is abundant. Life as you know it is about to change,” Johnny explains.

He is also a motivational speaker and writer. He has written articles for USA Gymnastics Technique Magazine as well as delivers Positivity newsletters to over 1,000 recipients a week in hopes that others will lead a life of resiliency, joy, and happiness.

It takes strength to live a life with resiliency and positivity, but with Johnny Positive, anything is possible. If you’re ready for a life with less pain, anxiety, and despair, he can help you in ways you never expect.
