22-year-old Dalton Hager is fast becoming the new face of what his generation can accomplish in a very short amount of time. The new rich have a different approach to life, work and financial freedom. Today Dalton is here with us to share his story of creating his own successful business and thriving in the world of entrepreneurship.
Dalton, let’s start at the beginning of your journey. What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
My inspiration comes from the idea of being my own boss, working my own hours, at my own pace and not having a cap on my income. Too often you see people working so hard through their whole life and making so little. Well, now, I get paid for what I’m worth. And I know I’m worth a lot more than what some hourly wage is probably going to pay me.
That’s a very inspirational way of thinking. So tell us about the business you’ve created. What is the concept?
The organization I’ve created is called Team Freedom and the core concept is to be able to help people learn how to trade in the foreign exchange and crypto markets and bring in a substantial residual income for themselves.
I want to help people be able to walk away from their difficult jobs and learn this new way of financial freedom. I was able to work my job as an army national guard recruiter in the military part time. As great as it is to have a full time job, I didn’t enjoy the aspect of working for someone else. Sure it paid the basic bills, but I was working 12 hour days, sometimes, 7 days a week. This has been life-changing and I am here to share that knowledge, it’s crazy that this can actually turn their phone into an ATM machine.
So now that your business is thriving, what goals do you have for the future of Digital Money Makers, and for yourself personally?
Ultimately, I want to bring home a large amount of money to my family, pay off their debts and help them retire early. My mom has been there through all the ups and downs, my parents deserve it, as do my grandparents. They deserve the world and I want to be the one to give it to them. I am a very family-oriented person. I visualize a time when I can take my whole family on a vacation with everyone’s tickets paid for in advance. Just…surprise, pack your bags, this one is on me! Even to be able to own a vacation island or spot and be able to go there whenever we want. If they ask me why I am doing this? My answer would simply be because I can, I have this amazing opportunity to do better, so that is what I will do.”
Within my business, I want to help create as many success stories like my own, as I can.
I mean, I’m 22 years old, where do you meet a 22-year-old who’s job-free, doing whatever he wants in life? I want to create that for everyone else around me.
Those are some admirable aspirations. Getting to this level of success must have had its share of setbacks. What kind of adversities did you face growing up and growing your business?
During high school, my parents got divorced. It definitely brought its own set of difficulties. Going back and forth from house to house was really difficult. You have your parents pulling you one way and then another way, trying to get you to be at one side or the other. It makes it impossible to focus. I barely graduated high school through all of that. It just goes to show that you can do anything, you don’t need to be a stellar student to be successful in life. These adversities made me who I am and I appreciate that. I wouldn’t have the work ethic that I have today.
When it comes to business, there are ups and downs in every business. I think being a young person that has made it as far as I have, can make it a little difficult for people to see through the outside noise and take me seriously. But I work through it and once the results start coming in, the proof is there in front of them.
