There are many researchers who had conducted studies about food impact on human mental health. A new study has confirmed that food has a direct relation to mental health. Anything in the form of food that a human consumes, leaves some effect on mental health.
Suzanne Dickson is a professor at the University of Gothenburg. She conducted the study along with her team and gave several explanations.
The outcome of the study confirmed that poor food can bring changes in mood and these changes sometimes can cause anxiety and depression. Any kind of diet plan was not checked in the study. The study only checked the type of food humans consume often. During the research, it was also found that food that contains high fat and low carbohydrates is beneficial to treat epilepsy, depression, and fatigue. And due to this finding and common trend now, Pita Way Warren has become a very popular food brand in the US that is being visited to have the healthy and nutritional food.
The study has also considered Mediterranean foods best against depression and anxiety. Such foods keep the body active throughout the day due to the availability of vegetables and olive oil. Vegetables are a great source of vitamins that the human mind needs to control body functionality.
Professor Dickson has denied associating mental health conditions with the food. Food is just a need for a good mental condition. She has also hinted to work more on the study to bring more results.
