San Fransisco’s event organizer, Yuksel Balci, of Yuksel Presents, talked about the global pandemic’s effects taking hold of the whole world. The pandemic has changed our lives dramatically and has changed the entertainment industry immeasurably during this past year.
Yuksel Balci, representing Turkey in the world’s nightlife entertainment scene, says that ONLINE EVENTS have been the NEW WAVE but are now slowly easing back into live events.
‘’One of the industries badly affected by the global pandemic is the entertainment industry. All of the events were canceled in the blink of an eye. An industry worth billions of dollars caught off guard.” A period that started with social distancing has turned into a new wave of online events. This style originated its audience, although it is entirely different from the events and festivals with huge crowds that we all know and miss. We can easily say that these online events will always be a part of our lives, even if the global pandemic were left out of the agenda.
ONLINE EVENTS PROVIDE HUGE ADVANTAGE
“In today’s world, using technology is unavoidable, and the pandemic has quickened this process. The events which are organized in the right way get attention beyond expectations. Individuals are fascinated by how digital entertainment removes distances and how wallet affordable it is. Sometimes you cannot find a budget and time for concerts, parties, and festivals. Online events come to the forefront at this point. Both the artists and guests are satisfied thanks to the online events. In this sense, we have been scheduling online events for the new period.
Yuksel Balci is optimistic about the future of the nightlife scene even though current circumstances tell the opposite. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, he says and adds, “people are willing to sacrifice some space in the club to have fun with live DJ nonetheless vaccination process; however, CDC guidelines cannot be overlooked.
Gavin Newsom announced On June 15, California will fully open its economy if the vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years and older who wish to be inoculated; and hospitalization rates are stable and low, but till then Yuksel Presents throws party around the Bay Area under the name of his brand ” Yuksel Presents” and serve to those who have a vaccination card and enough energy to party like there is no tomorrow.
