Two organizations partnered with each other to give bikes to 127 third grade students. Bikes for Kids Assembly partnered with the Bikes for Kids Foundation to provide bikes to the students of some Wilmington elementary schools.
The motive behind giving bikes to the students was to encourage them for writing essays. Bikes for Kids Foundation is a program that helps in character building of students of type one schools.
Students at Freeman School of Engineering and Snipes Academy of Arts and Design went through two guidance lessons and a book study for a month. It enabled them to think big and make zero excuses while reaching goals. The students were inspired to write essays about working hard to achieve their dreams.
Giving them bikes would inspire them a lot more to achieve their goals and write essays for complete character building. Writing essays require skills and presence of mind. And many students have been visiting this site to enhance the essay writing skills.
Students of the Wilmington elementary schools are planning a lot of things to do with their new bikes. Some students are planning to share their bikes with others, while some which already have bikes are planning to give them to their friends who don’t have any bike. This is a great initiative to encourage students to write essays along with character enhancement.
