What was it like to be the first male to win the Jordanian beauty pageant for men?
Honestly speaking I did not participate in any beauty pageant, but there was an event on social network to elect and vote for the 100 most handsome men globally, by the end of this event I was ranked 23rd globally and 7th Middle East.
As a worldwide influencer what do you feel is the number 1 challenge that you face to keep up with those who look up to you for inspiration?
Delivering the correct message to each person. As a worldwide traveler I started my passion as a blogger inspiring the luxury lifestyles and understanding different cultures. During which I noticed that through my charisma, I’m putting a smile on people faces regardless of the race or culture. Having said that I wanted to focus more on social media and influencing people. The challenge is when you want to deliver a message you need to take into consideration the races, cultures and people’s background so as not to be misunderstood in anyway knowing that I have followers who look up to me from different areas around the world.
Your Instagram live show the airs every night from 12am to 2 am and gets a lot of support, you have been giving away a prize to ease the quarantine during the Ramadan time. Why is doing this so important to you?
As the world is going through tough times especially with Covid-19 and the lockdowns, I noticed that a lot of people are going through mental challenges and some of them are struggling to keep up with the new way of life we are phasing through. The negativity that I am observing on social media is increasing and the topics are 90% about Covid-19 and the economic crisis. In this initiative my goal is to change the mental state of mind that people are going through in this current situation. I know this is very ambitious but if I can change one person, I will make a difference.
I have utilized my contacts and brought forward my idea to business owns and noticed that everyone is willing to contribute to this initiative. I managed to bring more than 40 sponsors to giveaway gifts of all sorts of products which can be tailored to different people. As a result, there are a lot of good reviews came out of this initiative and I believe the message here is that we can adapt to the new normal.
Talk about the candle of hope campaign? Why is this cause so important to you personally and what message so you have for your fans that can help spread the cause behind candle of hope?
Candle of hope campaign was first launched by my good friend Chaker khazaal who is a Palestinian author. The idea behind it was why count the number of coronavirus cases, death tolls while we can count the number of people with hope.
The Candle of Hope is an app that allows users to light a virtual candle and tracks the number of people who do so around the world. “The attitude of today’s life is that we do not know what tomorrow is. Covid-19 made us think of today, of how we can protect ourselves and our families, so we wanted to create this space of hope and we are taking it day by day.” Quoted by Chaker khazaal.
I was the first Jordanian who was handpicked to be the ambassador of this initiative, it is a great idea and is aligned with my goals and what I am inspired of.
If you can pick any spirit animal in the world what would it be and why?
Peacock: they have expressive personality, intuitive, impulsive. They love social situations, parties, they like appreciation, a pat on the back, and to inspire others. The peacock loves to be the center of attention. They sparkle at parties and often come across as cocky. The main part is that they always have their head held high even when they are about to die. This shows that they are proud of the life they lived and with die with no regrets.
