When you work a long week and finally get a day off, going to a Nail Salon is recommended. It’s become one of our favorite hobbies visiting local nail salons near me and reviewing them. The most recent nail salon we visited was Orchid Nails and Spa
According to Yelp data roughly 60% of 98,000 businesses that closed during the pandemic are permanent. Yet, even after a wicked pandemic this local family owned business Orchid Nails & Spa in Rosemount Minnesota is still standing.
We spoke with the owner and one of the biggest obstacles they’re facing is not enough workers. “One of our biggest struggles is getting new nail technicians. MInnesota is not saturated with nail technicians like California so we have to do extra digging”.
Orchid Nails & Spa in Rosemount Minnesota is between Apple Valley MN and Eagan MN. It has been said they do the best acrylic nails. With Apple Valley and Eagan being bigger cities, they’re well populated by nail salons but the locals love this nail place. In result, it forces Orchid Nails & Spa to become dependent on their locals.
In April 2021, Orchid Nails & Spa was sold to today’s owners. The new owners have rich humorous personalities and focus on giving their customers the best experience. Their clients have complimented how well they’ve been able to turn a dying nail salon into a local choice. They want to make Orchid Nails & Spa a place where hard working mothers and fathers can go and relax with their kids.
“We understand the time we’re living in is tough for everyone. One of our biggest compliments is how relaxing and welcoming it feels for them. We don’t have the news channel playing instead, we have relaxing music and good conversation. We make it so if you want to relax in peace and quiet you can or if you want to have a few laughs you can do that too. Everyone is battling something and like anyone else we need a place to go to escape reality for a bit and rejuvenate. We want Orchid Nails & Spa to be your get away place”.
Orchid Nails & Spa is one of many small businesses in Rosemount Minnesota doing what they can to give their locals a little bit of fresh air.
