Imagine an illness so insidious a person in perfect health can suddenly succumb to a set of potentially deadly symptoms, with no idea the cause. Sound familiar? No, the disease is not COVID-19. It is bacterial, not viral, and unlike the novel COVID-19 virus responsible for the COVID pandemic, it is a zoonotic disease that spreads from animals to humans through a bacterium called Borrelia burgdorferi, which lives in mice and deer and is picked up and carried forward by black-legged ticks after they feed on an infected animal.
Dr. Ingram has written more than 30 books on natural healing. He himself is a victim of Lyme disease that he conquered with natural remedies. He tells his story in his book, The Lyme Disease Cure. Where he gives lifesaving advice on how to reverse and prevent this pandemic disease.
Does this disease sound familiar?
In his research and writing, Ingram notes the initial symptoms of Lyme disease that patients describe as overwhelming fatigue and general malaise, which can be highly similar to the presentation of COVID-19.
Also similar is fact that it may be hidden and may not manifest until the germ has settled deeply into the tissues, as in COVID-19, which is when the horrific damage begins.
A significantly distinct symptom, Ingram says, is the presence of chest pressure, dry cough, and scratchy throat. If there is a cough that is dry, it is probably COVID, he says.
While CDC records show some 30,000 cases of Lyme, largely in the northeastern states, it is estimated the actual number is far greater with, as many as 300,000 new cases every year.
Many of these individuals are being ravaged by this debilitating illness without the benefit of an accurate diagnosis or meaningful cure.
When it comes to addressing Lyme disease, antibiotics can be effective if the disease is caught right away. However, for individuals who prefer natural remedies or who are highly sensitive or allergic to traditional antibiotics, there is another alternative described in his books: wild spice oils and especially wild oregano oil harvested from the high altitudes of the Mediterranean mountains. As shown by Johns Hopkins University, these extracts are extremely effective remedies when used as “antiseptic oils.” These oils – oregano and cinnamon oil, John Hopkins says, are capable of entirely eradicating the infectious bacteria in Lyme disease.
The properties of antiseptic oils are beneficial in addressing a number of infectious diseases through nature. Ingram notes these oils are not only effective for tough bacterial infections, such as Lyme, but also for viral infections such as COVID-19.
To fully halt the progression of Lyme, it is essential that all of the infectious bacteria be eradicated, Ingram writes. If there is failure to do so, the bacteria can mutate and begin a cycle of reinfection that can occur again and again, while becoming increasingly more resistant to treatment. The benefit of wild oregano oil such as the P73 blend is that it can be used in large quantities and is non-toxic.
An indication of plant-derived medicinal treatments to come?
Interestingly, while Ingram’s research has identified and advanced the benefits of wild oregano oil and other wild spice oils, such as bay leaf and sage, through his books and media appearances for the past 25 years other practitioners are beginning to take notice. Several recent studies in 2020 are also verifying the power of medicinal herbs, showing they may even exceed the efficacy of antibiotics in eradicating the bacterial infections of Lyme.
Ingram’s research, meanwhile, continues to advance. The Johns Hopkins work has shown, as Ingram indicates, that the wild oregano oil dissolves the Lyme bacteria including its notorious biofilm. And in a recent study, he demonstrated the oil’s ability to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 cases in 50 health care workers in Illinois, which he reported in July 2020.
Clearly, when it comes to protecting wellness and addressing the world’s most challenging diseases, the best cures may be as near as our kitchens.
