Success always depends on your backbone not your wishbone. There is no harm in dreaming, but there’s definitely no harm in working towards seeing your dreams come to life. Andrea Samantha is one of the very few people who continues to push forward and help others to do the same.
Growing up in Ohio to a conservative household, Andrea always knew she wasn’t like the rest of her family members. Independent and strong-minded, she was set to pave the path on her own. From a very young age, she strived to remain diligent in her efforts to achieve her goals.“My mom stayed at home with me and my sister and my dad worked 9-5. He taught us work ethic and that nothing is handed to us. We didn’t have the best relationship, because I am independent and they were more traditional. I was homeschooled until high school and then attended a small private Christian school.”
At 18, she started working as a hairstylist at an Aveda Salon and soon made inroads in the entrepreneurial world. “Being a hairstylist, I was commission-based, so I’ve always had to be on my game to grow my clientele and be the base to maintain them. I’m a creative, so I’ve dabbled on Etsy and had my own wedding hair and makeup business before starting MONAT in direct sales.”
Andrea reached the crest of a wave after joining MONAT global as a network marketer. She successfully made one million in commissions and quickly earned her way to the top as a million-dollar income earner. Owing to her passion of seeing young talented individuals become effective sales leaders, Andrea eventually became a coach and now trains her million dollar-a-month team to reach new heights.
Despite having dealt with personal challenges and traumas, Andrea remained consistent on her goal to not hold back. That soon translated into one of her biggest strengths: pushing forward while tending to the problem at hand. “I have a business coach and therapist who have helped me overcome my traumas to work at my best level. I protect my energy, keep my circle small and I’m very picky about who I surround myself with.”
