Fitness Coach Blake Holman Leads the Way in Transforming People’s Bodies by Eating Food They Love

Fitness is a lifestyle not many pursue due to several reasons. One is because they do not see the need to, while some aim for it—acknowledging that it is a worthy lifestyle to subscribe to if they want to be the best version of themselves. But the trouble for the latter group of people is that they often fall short of maintaining to eat the right kinds of food and succumb to going back to how things were simply because they are human, and humans love eating what they want.

Many associate a fitness lifestyle with a super restricted diet, which often implies kissing the food they love to eat goodbye. However, fitness coach Blake Holman challenges this assumption, committing himself to teach people how to permanently transform their bodies by eating the food they love, and ditching the cardio while they are at it.

Blake was raised in a rural town, where he started off with a deep passion for football. The sport was everything to him then, until high school was over, and Blake realized that so was his football career. He stuck to his training routine, however, and regularly worked out in the gym during his first year in college. Not long after, Blake discovered a love for fitness, which was heavily inspired by some of the established fitness influencers of today, like Cory Gregory, Steve Cook, and Christian Guzman. He took on doing several different workout plans and did not stop there—simultaneously learning everything he could about nutrition, fitness, and supplementation.

Blake fell in love with the fitness lifestyle and could not get enough of it. “I was addicted to the way the gym made me feel and I knew I had found my passion and purpose,” he says. The fitness coach began noticing significant progress with his own body—gaining over 20 pounds of muscle, and he was eager to keep going. He decided to take on Exercise, Sport, and Health Education as his major, with a specialization in Fitness, Strength, and Conditioning.

Taking his fitness journey up a notch, Blake competed in a national bodybuilding show where he championed all four classes he was in. This got him his American Natural Bodybuilding Federation (ANBF) Men’s Physique Pro Card. The 12-week training for it was grueling, he recalls, but the fitness coach dubs it as one of the most fulfilling undertakings in his life. Blake went on to graduate college with the major that he loved and became a certified Personal Trainer and later, an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Fitness Nutrition Specialist.

Today, Blake runs his business—Blake Holman Fitness—with the ultimate goal of establishing fitness as a sustainable lifestyle change for his clients. He genuinely looks after the people he works with and makes sure to equip them with the tools they need to pursue fitness, not just a short term plan, but a sustainable solution. “Completely changing their lives also changed mine, which is why I remain dedicated to my client’s success and my own fitness journey!” Blake says proudly. He customizes his workout plan to the specific needs of his clients and tells them that they do not necessarily have to give up the food they love to lead a fitness lifestyle.
