One of the ongoing passengers by the name Mr. Michael Bailey informed CNN affiliate KHNL/KGMB that they just hit the turbulence pretty quick which resulted in several people getting hit to the ceiling. He also added that there was loads of shouting out of fear in the aircraft.

As per the information shared by Mr. Ian Gregor, a spokesman with the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane was flying at a height of approximately 36,000 feet up. During the incident the aircraft was just about 600 miles southwest of Honolulu.

When the airline was contacted for their valuable inputs they said in their statement that – “The first and foremost priority of the airline is always the safety of their flights, passengers and crew. They are trying their best to handle the situation without bringing in any further discomfort to the passengers. As a precautionary measure they have allotted their medical personnel on standby to examine the passengers in Honolulu.”
