Numerous business leaders are currently, no doubt, clinging to their fifth cup of coffee for comfort, almost as a crutch, needing a hit of caffeine just to survive the barrage of crisis calls, texts, emails they receive by 8am. This daily operating in crisis mode and surviving has a solution. You are not alone, according to Courtney Green, founder of Spark Consulting.

Stress, high anxiety, reactivity. This system we have bought into is unsustainable, unfulfilling. Inefficient at best. More and more business leaders find themselves struggling to maintain balance. As they feel pulled in a million different directions, making decisions that affect many. To suggest balance may sound like a laughable fantasy.

A survey by Development Dimensions International, found that 60% of business leaders report feeling drained at the end of a workday. Of those, another 44% feel they will need to change jobs to advance and reach their career goals.

Green understands how these leaders feel because she too has felt that way. Her role is to teach leaders and business professionals how to feel balanced by tapping into their ‘flow’, or ‘operating in balance’. It is this way of being that makes doing easier. By achieving their flow state on demand, leaders feel the effortlessness and joy in passionately creating a new way of leading and living.

Green is a dynamic, inspirational speaker who coaches, counsels, and consults business leaders. To live and lead while in a natural state of flow requires us to clear out the mental barriers we have unconsciously constructed that block it, creating imbalance. These barriers are conditioned beliefs as to who we are and how the world works. By courageously seeing these flow stoppers for what they are – someone else’s ideas that we’ve unknowingly bought into as true – we can easily dissolve them and allow ourselves to be in flow. When achieved, we feel balanced and our creative genius comes through in leadership and life.

Green has done doctoral work in Leadership Psychology with a focus on neuroscience and organizational development. She is a U.S. military veteran and holds a law degree with a concentration in conflict resolution, and is certified in mediation. Serving as a Medical Service Corps mental health professional in the Air Force and as a JAG Corps leader in the Army, she has also worked for Fortune 200 and Fortune 300 companies in leadership and advisor roles too.

In addition to her professional accolades, Green models the kind of balance she teaches others by practicing being in her flow – passionately living and working in alignment with her truth.

Removing The Barriers

Early on in her life Green learned the hard way to “make” things happen. Falling victim to influencer’s ‘life truths’, she believed other’s ideas as to who she was and how the world worked. Through academic, athletic, and civic over achievement, Green outwardly modeled perfectionism proving her worth through exhausting over-efforting. She unknowingly learned to override her greatest asset, the truth within.

It wasn’t until she was running the Business Development department of a public relations firm working with top level executives, government officials, and other C-suite level leaders from all professions, that she discovered the need for deep alignment between these leaders and the work they did to create the kind of success they truly desired and deserved.

It was a Spark That Started it All

Green believes one of the keys to authentic alignment in work and life is to see the beliefs we’ve been taught over time and to decide what does and does not work for us now. With that awareness, we are able to relight that spark within. To live out our passions through work, in life, aligned with the truth of who we really are rather than, what we’ve been led to believe.

We are all born with limitless possibility and potential. We forget that truth as time marches on and our society, culture, and parents influence us to shut-down that infinite opportunity. We conform instead, dimming our lights in response. Our unique, divine spark waits in darkness. The truth of who we are, limitless possibility and potential, stays hidden until we uncover it.

Spark Consulting was born from Green’s passion to dig deep and teach other leaders how to find their own truth. Because of her military background, education in psychology with specific curiosity in cognitive-behavioral, and her own diverse life experiences, she knew she was in a perfect position to help others unearth their own higher intelligence. When achieved, they too, could potentially emerge aligned with their greatest potential.

As we grow older, we develop a limited perception of what we believe is possible for us to achieve. Our viewpoint becomes so narrow, so restricted. And so does our ability to feel fulfillment in work and life. It’s that finite perspective that Spark Consulting aims to exponentially expand. Part of Spark’s goal is to uplevel the whole person and not just a portion or a part of them. By addressing the whole person, leaders become balanced emotionally, physically, and mentally.

Akin to surfing, riding the waves of life requires internal balance, agility and full presence. At times, you may find yourself riding high on the crest. Other times, you may find yourself at a low point in a trough. The key to your happiness is learning how to maintain balance within whether you are riding high or low. Staying calmly centered as you surf all kinds of waves in life and leadership. Chaos and confusion may be all around, yet you are balanced as you go with the flow. Trusting your internal compass to keep you centered as you ride it out.

Additionally, again, like a surfer, we are along for the ride, powerless to change the direction of the wave yet powerful in creating our experience of riding the wave. As we accept what life brings us, we can adjust our balance and direction if we choose. Learning how to feel our way along our path using our own internal guidance system is vital for self-mastery.

An Experience Like No Other

Spark offers several different experiences for individuals and leadership teams. Spark offers one-on-one consulting, counseling, and coaching.

For business professionals and those who desire a greater experience, Spark Consulting holds one-day intensive workshop sessions with business teams and a five-day fully engrossing outdoor leadership retreats which Green facilitates and describes as extraordinary and enjoyable. The retreats allow attendees to become fully tuned-in to their higher intelligence and to break down the barriers blocking their flow, limiting the full expression of their creative genius.

Spark is unique in its approach to shifting one’s mindset and treating the whole person to access their flow state on demand. Leaders who shed their learned limited mindset and in turn access their higher consciousness, they receive optimal outcomes from their team in terms of revenue, communication, creativity, and more.

Spark teaches people how to communicate, become connected and aligned with themselves to tap into their greater emotional, physical, and mental capabilities. As an etension, Green combines her years of professional experience along with philosophy, psychology, brand strategy and metaphysics into her process to teach others how to live their passion fully and freely.
