Reading Time: 3 mins read

Mariel Hemingway is best known as an actress, starring in the award-winning Manhattan with Woody Allen and accumulating over 60 TV and film credits throughout her illustrious career which started when she was only 14-years-old. So it makes perfect sense that Mariel, now an accomplished entertainer herself, would be open to helping another young entertainer make her mark — this time in the publishing world.

Enter Isabell Hayden, a 7-year-old author. With the help of Isabell’s mother and a publishing company called MindStir Media, Isabell was able to get an endorsement from Mariel Hemingway for her new children’s book. The endorsement came in the form of a video that was posted to YouTube. The video of Mariel Hemingway praising the young author’s book, The Adventures of Amber: Walk in the Woods, attracted thousands of views and helped the book become a #1 Amazon Best Seller in June 2021.
