Countless deterrents can stand in the way of an aspirant, hindering them from even taking that first step towards the fruition of their goals. In particular, this truth is often encountered by people who want to enter the commercial space and establish their own ventures. But as what highly successful entrepreneur Abbey Scott has proven, obstacles are nothing in the face of a person’s determination to make it.

“It is truly incredible what passion and a vision can accomplish together with patience and hard work,” shares Holy Cross graduate Abbey Scott, who stands behind two lucrative and esteemed businesses, namely Coffee Over Cardio and Fit Legacy Marketing. And through her enterprises, she demonstrates that indeed, when one is armed with the right ingredients to success, the fulfillment of one’s dreams is inevitable.

This Division 1 athlete majored in economics and, after completing an internship during college at an investment bank, received an offer for a full-time position on Wall Street that will begin right after graduation. Initially, Abbey Scott planned to climb the corporate ladder and make a name for herself in the finance industry, with the aim of one day being part of a C-Suite. However, during her time on Wall Street, she met her now-husband Mike and together, they would serve as founders of a coffee company branded for, built by, and grown by women.

After a couple of career moves, Abbey Scott now emerges as a future powerhouse, boasting high-growing market standouts, one of which is Coffee Over Cardio. Founded in 2017, it provides top-notch products that help people start their morning right. Since its establishment, this enterprise has launched over forty products, including coffees, k-cups, apparel, electrolytes, creamers, and more. And in 2020 alone, this brainchild of Abbey Scott and Mike Crowson has achieved the impressive feat of breaking over $5 million in sales without any investor.

Known for its outstanding branding, Coffee Over Cardio takes pride in its coffee bags that are designed with fun colors and patterns and feature a one-way air valve responsible for keeping the coffee’s freshness. Moreover, it received recognition for developing a unique MCT oil-based creamer containing nootropics that can help improve cognitive functions.

Abbey Scott can also be credited for the rise of Fit Legacy Marketing, an authority in advertising that comprises a full-fledged team providing services to small businesses. On a mission to scale small ventures quickly and efficiently, it utilizes social media advertising, affiliate programs, website optimization, graphics, email strategy, and more as it addresses the needs of entrepreneurs with no marketing experience and who are unable to invest in an in-house team in improving their brand visibility.

Her journey to the top of the business realm was jump-started by an astute observation of the industry’s gaps. And it is her dedication to filling in those gaps along with her commitment to seeing her vision translated into a reality that allowed Abbey Scott to rise as an accomplished entrepreneur.

In the coming years, on top of elevating Coffee Over Cardio and Fit Legacy Marketing into industry leaders, Abbey Scott plans to bank on her story to inspire other hopefuls, reminding them that although humble may one’s beginnings be, unimaginable success is possible when one is dedicated enough.
