On Friday a deadly accident took the life of 7 members of the JarHeads Motorcycle club. The JarHeads MC includes members of Marines and their spouses. In the accident that took place around 6:30 pm on a two lane highway in the small town of Randolph, a pickup truck collided with a group of bikers.
The accident was so brutal that even the bystanders, who tried to help the bikers are still in shock. The witnesses described the accident and said that the pickup truck caught fire and described the scene as “devastating”.
One of the members of the MC, Bill Brown who is a 73 year old Vietnam War veteran and motorcyclist visited the scene. He said “Seven people. C’mon! It’s senseless. Somebody made a mistake and it turned out to be pretty deadly.”
A pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer crashed with a group of 10 motorcycles near the quaint North Woods community of Randolph. The bikers were on their way to the “Blessing of the Bikes”, a ceremony which was to be held just an hour north from where the accident took place.
And the pickup truck driver was Volodomyr Zhkovsky, 23, an employee of Westfield Transport, a company in Springfield, Massachusetts. The driver survived the accident. He has not been charged by the authorities. But the authorities are not able to contact him. Vlodomyr Zhukovsky has fallen off the radar and seems unreachable at the moment. He is not answering his phone and his whereabouts are unknown.
The owner of Westfield Transport, Dartayan Gasanov, has helped the authorities and plans to talk to them on Monday. He also wants them to find the pickup driver who is not answering his calls as well.
The National Transportation Safety Board has also spoken on the tragic accident. Chris Wagner, the New Hampshire State Police Col said – “This is one of the worst tragic incidents that we have investigated here in the state. It’s going to be very lengthy investigation.”
