To Go Far, You Must Be Willing To Learn From Others – Says Lazaris The Top Don

Lazaris is part of a musical bloodline and dynasty, which influenced his path and journey in music. His success came with his first mixtape release followed by his album which sored him to even greater heights.

Lazaris The Top Don commends Inphamus Amadeuz for his guidance in learning the behind the scene parts of the music industry. However, he made a mistake of releasing a song without the proper knowledge of registering a song and protecting himself as an artist in the industry.

Lazaris The Top Don names Lord sear aka the Big Homie as the most incredible and exciting person he has met in the industry because he helped him break from independent artist record to satellite airwaves. He encourages colleagues in the music industry to find the niche their key audience tap in. They are also supposed to make sure they have fun while making music besides it being a business for them to thrive in music. Another important thing is to mark in the fans’ lives for them to relate to you and also make the right moves in your career.

Advice To Prospects

Lazaris The Top Don encourages other people who want to embark on a career path similar to his to keep a positive mindset, set goals, and not be afraid to invest in their dreams. He also advises them to have a belief in their skill and craft so that others will want to join along their journey.

He also proposes some of the things that people wanting to join the music career need to know before starting. These things are;

  1. Knowing how much it costs to be a real music artist
  2. Knowing the time and dedication  it takes to get signed to a major contract
  3. Have the right financial advice for the music career
  4. Know how to register music

He also advises that the music game is 90% business and 10% lyrical.

The Help

Lazaris CEO Inphamus Amadeuz helped him get out of a bad contract he had signed in 2014 with a different record label which did not have Lazaris’ best interest at heart but only needed him for his writing skills. His CEO then signed him to his imprint, which became a major deal.

His group Top Don Empire whose mission is to help the ghetto youths in helping participate in equal employment opportunities through sales and marketing and also teach life survival skills needed for the corporate world.

Conclusion

Lazaris The Top Don concludes by saying that he would like to sit with Jay Z, one of the most prominent and most brilliant minds in the music industry, to discuss his career and the options he chose. He also says that Jay Z influenced him in wanting himself to become the same kind of mogul he is.
