Samsung Electronics is going to launch a new smartphone next year that will have a front-facing camera under the display. Samsung will use a similar pattern that is currently being used in the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10. But the new smartphone will have a front screen hole located at the top of the display for the front camera. The company has a transparent display for the new phone in place of a hole that will be on the top of the front camera.
Samsung Display supplies the mobile OLED displace panels for Samsung Electronic. It is going to install designated equipment that is dubbed HIAA2. It will specifically dedicate the under-display innovation next month.
HIAA stands for Hole in Active Area and it uses lasers to cut the hole in the display. HIAA1 equipment is currently used to make the hole in display that has been in use by Samsung since last year. This technology will greatly help people to review various smartphones on www.anewcellphone.com based on the latest features and capabilities.
Samsung will either apply this new technology on the Galaxy S11 or the successor of the Galaxy Fold. The company’s mobile business is continuously growing and it is expected to provide better returns than the previous year’s quarters. Last week Samsung Display announced that the company will invest $11 billion into the development and commercialization of QD displays for the next five years.
