India is one of many civilizations where perfume making was a thriving business. Traders from various parts of the world came here in search of the finest of fragrances. The modern fragrance industry too is all set to rise at a rate of 15% annually in the coming 5 years, all thanks to enormous growth in Grooming & Lifestyle Industry. But most of the industry was dominated by foreign brands. Till very recent quality perfumes meant digging a big hole into the pocket. Eyeing this huge problem and turning it to opportunity, a young entrepreneur from Gujrat Adil Qadri has stepped into the fragrance market with a Non-alcoholic premium range of Attars, Non-alcoholic contemporary perfumes, and non-alcoholic deodorants.
Mr. Adil Qadri says “Consumers now do not want to pay huge for a premium range of perfumes. Apart from the affluent segment generally people would avoid buying the fragrance if it hits hard to their pocket, and they are correct in their calculations.” He further adds that “something very basic as a quality fragrance should be in reach of purchase capacity of masses. That is why we have come with range of perfumes and deodorants which are not only affordable but come in the non-alcoholic base.”
Mr. Adil Qadri has launched 2 premium fragrances which are AdilQadri Oud-Al-Hashmi and AdilQadri Musk-Al-Ghazali . He had also launched 3 daily wear fragrances Adilqadri Blue Ocean attar, Adil Qadri amazing signature attar, and AdilQadri Safwan attar in 2020. The premium range comes with exclusive and attractive packaging which ensures that the perfume is kept safe for a longer time. Mr. Adil Qadri is also planning to launched non-alcohol based deodorants. He says “ We want to cater across every kind of choices and every age-group. At Adil- Qadri, the brand, we understand that youth generally teens prefer deodorants over perfumes, so we have made available non-alcohol based deodorants with long- lasting scent.”
Mr. Qadri wants more and more consumers to opt for Made-in-India brands, be it perfumes or anything else. He says “I believe in self-dependent India, from smaller to bigger industries we need to be self-sufficient. We must provide quality products with affordability so that more and more consumers opt for local brands. That is what we are aiming at.”
His deep understanding of the fragrance industry and determination to grow is quite evident from his business approach. Adil Qadri is an entrepreneur with great vision and ambitions.
