Okaloosa and Walton Counties’ deputies faced a dispute when a man committed an illegal activity by stealing a truck. Okaloosa country Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) stated that they received a call at 9:14 a.m. on 13th July about a stolen truck, near John Givens Road on Thursday. A man named, Randy Cooper, aged 35 years old, was traveling northbound towards Highway 90 with a stolen white Toyota Tundra.
The truck owner had installed a GPS tracker, a surveillance device that uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to track the location of an object. Cooper was unaware that the OCSO deputies were able to track him along with the truck’s movement due to to the installed GPS tracker inside the vehicle.

According to the report, at 9:43 a.m., Walton County Sheriff’s Deputy notices about the stolen truck which was spotted at County Road 185, near Holmes County. OCSO said that Cooper was driving the truck at 100 miles per hour before a traffic stop stopped him.
OCSO says Cooper has crashed the truck near Mehlhorn’s Mini Mart Highway 90 in Argyle and taken into custody with some injuries. Cooper has messed up with two law authorities including Okaloosa and Walton Countries. He will be taken into the court for further action.
