Mike Barron is not just a sales guru. He is a multi-million dollar entrepreneur who has earned two 2-Comma Club awards and is considered as one of the top sales and marketing experts in the world. This success, of course, did not come easy to him. His childhood and upbringing led him to become a gangster by the time he graduated high school and has experienced extreme poverty in his twenties. It wasn’t until he made the decision to completely reinvent his life when he was able to achieve a great level of success. The first thing he did when he decided to change his life was to learn how to do sales. He then proceeded to create a strong sales team and is now sharing his top three secrets.

1. Train your team to deliver a top-notch customer experience.

Mike runs an agency where he teaches gym owners and fitness professionals how to do sales. The very first concept he wants everyone to understand is that sales is all about providing value. Taking care of your customers and knowing that relationships are better than profits will create a strong reputation for your company, and it will also drive more sales.

2. If you want your team to grow, do not hire only top sales people.

The best teams are always balanced with people who are rockstars and junior staff who are developing the skill. Sometimes, it is better to train people with potential than it is to work with top sales people who do not appreciate feedback. Encourage growth, encourage them to help each other until they become team players.

3. Be intentional with your company culture

Develop a vision statement and tell your team about your mission and vision, so they can all adopt it and develop a good culture. Establish rules, monitor behavior and performance so you can see how the culture is developing. Develop a close relationship with your sales force. When they trust you, loyalty is formed and a healthy culture is cultivated.

Follow these three strategies and start growing your sales team. Connect with Mike Barron to grow even faster.
