Patrick Anthony James LaBeach Jr. also known as PJ to his friends, is a 19 year old young man from Miami, Florida, currently residing in Killeen, Texas, who is smashing the entrepreneurial success game. Let’s dive into his story and find out what his secrets and tips are for future success.
PJ, you have had an interesting young life, can you tell us what inspired you to choose the career path of entrepreneurship for yourself?
I would say my mother was my inspiration, because she owned multiple businesses when I was younger. She even had her own daycare. Watching her work so hard, I would wonder, ‘what is she really doing? Why is she doing all of this?’ My mother’s drive and ambition came from her need to make sure me and my siblings were well taken care of. It really showed me what true dedication and hard work could accomplish. It guided me towards the entrepreneurship lifestyle.
You truly understand what it takes to build a successful career. Can you share the concept behind your business?
We are digital entrepreneurs. We show other people how to make money from their phones. We deal with the foreign exchange market to bring in generational wealth for people and give them financial freedom.
We truly care about helping shift peoples’ mindsets, so that they can help themselves to achieve anything as long as they believe in themselves and their abilities.
How does your business help people to reach their financial goals?
Well, my business actually helps inspire upcoming entrepreneurs on how to build a business, how to invest and how to make money from their smartphones whenever or wherever they feel like it. What you need to do is emulate another successful entrepreneur. Follow their lead and you will achieve similar results. We show people how to get to the goal of financial freedom.
What goals have you set for yourself and for your business?
Personally, I’m working on my certification as a personal trainer for NASM. I enjoy being fit and healthy. My dream is to open my own gym in my city. I want to bring light into my neighborhoods. As for my business goals, I want to become a seven figure earner and help young entrepreneurs to achieve the same. I want them to understand that It’s okay to not go to college, It’s okay to be different.
What kinds of struggles did you go through growing up and in growing your business?
My father was in the military, he was overseas a lot when I was younger. I was with my mother a lot. I became a very cocky guy and had to teach myself to take down my ego. I really didn’t care about anybody but myself and it was not serving me well in my life. Once you start to care about others and when you focus on bettering yourself that’s when the magic starts to happen. Austin Godsey said, ’self-help helps self to help someone else.’ I took that quote and ran with it. I also began to bring like-minded individuals into my life. When it comes to my business, I learned that even though I’m in my building phase, I’m slowly starting to attract people that want to join me. That’s it right now. And I honestly want to give a true shout out to Bryce Thompson and NASA and Tradehouse Investment Group for helping me shift my mindset to be able to do these things right now.
What is some advice you could offer aspiring entrepreneurs who are starting in this business genre?
Train your mind to succeed. Personal development starts with your mind. Reading books can mould your brain so listen to audiobooks, affirmations and do meditation. You have to do these things to turn the negative thoughts into positive ones.
Another thing you need to keep in your life is to always thank God and always be grateful.
Just give gratitude every single day, regardless of where you’re at in your path to success, even if you feel stagnant. You have to believe that your time is coming. You just have to wait.
You have to realize that this is a marathon and not a race. You’re meant to build generational wealth for your family and that takes time to build.
