Akhil Penumudi, the music artist popularly known as “Brown Mamba” is scaling new heights in the music world. Born in Hyderabad, India, he moved to Singapore at just six months of his age and stayed there for four years. At 5, Brown Mamba settled in San Diego and he is staying here for the last 20 years.
While attending the University of San Diego for completing his degree in biochemistry, he released his first rap project: a nine-song sorority mix-tape. His single Alpha Chi Omega has been used in 250 TikTok videos. Recently, he also came up with his new album, “Mamba Legacy Deluxe”, which landed at #19 on the iTunes hip-hop top 100 list.
In this new album, Brown Mamba has included 8 new songs and it contains a total of 24 songs that honor the late Kobe Bryant. Until now, the musician has written/composed more than 50 tracks and he is making news out of Daygo.
The reason for his rising dominance in the music world is his great music and his powerful networks. Brown Mamba has worked with notable producers namely Cashmoneyap, Yung Lan, Laron, Call me G, Luchakra, and Young Forever. Some engineers with which he has worked are Darrick Ofenloch, Jay Critch, 24hrs, and Dylan Reese.
Darrick Ofenloch is the owner of the driftwood recording studio in Pacific Beach. He is an engineer for Brown Mamba and he has mixed & mastered every single track for him. Mamba Legacy Deluxe stands at #185 on the top 200 overall all genres and his song, Alpha Chi Omega, has hit 7 figures plays.
Album Mamba Legacy Deluxe has got over 10,000 plays on Spotify. One of his musical achievements is that he owns the record label, Mamba Mentality. His maiden music video, Here to Stay, is also one of the songs on his music album, Mamba Legacy Deluxe.
