For young entrepreneur James Lubin, a traditional career path exchanging time for money was not in his agenda. He’s showing the masses how to make the most out of their time, learning new skill sets and becoming business savvy entrepreneurs in the process. Today James is here with us to share his journey through the entrepreneurial world.
Let’s start at the beginning of your journey, James. What first inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
“What actually started me off on this path and made me want to have my own business was seeing my grandma run a daycare when I was younger. I’ve always had that entrepreneurial spirit. I would sell things in highschool like snacks, always trying to make an extra dollar.”
What is the concept of your business that you’ve created to date?
“Through my organization, we’re shifting the exchange of time and money. So currently people tend to trade their time for money, but we’re helping people learn a skill that will allow them to make their money work for itself while keeping their time to utilize it in the way that they truly desire. We’re providing an educational platform that people can leverage to learn to trade in the largest financial markets in the world. In addition, members are able to learn to become business owners themselves through mentorship from top earners in the company.”
You mentioned the importance you place on helping people get their time back. How does that make an impact on their day to day lives?
“Having the freedom of time means being able to allocate more hours to the things that matter to you, for example your family, your hobbies, your interests, or even a side business that you want to make your main business. Let’s say you have a family and you’re working 10 hour shifts 5 days a week. That really limits the amount of time you have to spend with your loved ones. That’s what coming into this space does for you – you’re now able to earn an income from the comfort of your home on your mobile device, within the hours of your choosing based on your lifestyle.”
With your business growing as you continue to help more and more people what kinds of goals do you have set for yourself and for the future of your organization?
“Personally, my biggest goal right now is to retire my parents. For the business I want to impact as many lives as possible and help people realize the potential there is in learning this skill set to have that financial and time freedom.
Becoming successful in business can be very difficult. Tell us about some of the adversity you faced in growing your organization in this type of space.
“In this type of industry you’re working with people all over the world from different walks of life who have different perspectives and experiences than your own. It can be challenging at first adapting your leadership style such that you’re able to help everyone get that same level of attention and education in a way that they understand best. But it just takes patience and a willingness to improve yourself, and that translates into the way that you’re able to help other people improve themselves.”
In closing James, tell us your best piece of advice for an aspiring entrepreneur.
“Success starts in the mind. What you can conceive and believe, you can achieve. Whatever you think about most is what you become. Whatever you place your energy and focus into, is already yours. As long as you believe in yourself, you can make it happen.”
