Entrepreneur and inventor Curren Krasnoff collaborates with engineering firms to develop new and valuable technologies, filing patents and working with the business community to promote unique and creative technology. Duplicent (duplicent.com), his flagship venture, has developed technology that is both advanced and highly functional.
Among the more formidable of Duplicent’s recent inventions is its electric personal aircraft technology, built around two novel electric engines. Standard single-ducted and non-ducted single-propeller engines have inferior thrust and energy efficiency, as opposed to counter-rotating ducted fan electric engines; combining counter-rotating ducted fan electric engines with personal electric aircraft has never been done before, and Duplicent is the first.
The heart of Duplicent’s resulting Counter Rotating Quadrocopter lies in using counter-rotating ducted fan electric engines in a quadrocopter configuration for personal electric aircraft. Duplicent has also created several ducted engine concepts that generate thrust using ionizing electrodes in various combinations. The technology explores different engine layouts and aircraft types.
Technologies like these are not only exciting and inspiring but also highly useful, with the potential to dramatically improve our lives.
Duplicent is also working on other technologies in various development stages. Cloud computing architectures, energy technologies, earthquake mitigation technologies, computer memory technologies, engines, phones, and braking technologies are among the other technologies for which Duplicent has filed patents. The company is now pursuing a comprehensive patenting strategy across various technologies and geographies to ensure that its inventions are protected to the greatest possible extent. In order to commercialize its technology as widely as possible, Duplicent is pursuing a licensing and self-commercialization strategy, its mission being to have a positive social, environmental, and economic impact worldwide.
