Arianna Jones, a young African American actress, writer, and producer announces that she is currently working on two new drama series as 2023 approaches. The rising star from Virginia also makes reference to the launching of her new production company, Arianna Jones Productions LLC, which was just recently established this month, in December of 2022.
Earlier this year Arianna was cast for the role of Nina in the upcoming series Blood Money, starring alongside Netflix’s The Circle personality Deleesa St. Agathe, Julito McCullum known for Akeelah and the Bee,
Ephraim Benton known for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and a few other names. The pilot episode of the series wrapped production in early September and is now in post-production.
Arianna is also set to play the lead role in the upcoming series Bottom, written and directed by Joseph C. Grant, which tells the story of a 15 year old girl, Foxy (played by Arianna), in 1970s New York who is forced into prostitution by her drug-addicted father.
Arianna explains that she strives to create art which is representative of the everyday people who are not often labeled as everyday people. She wants to tell the stories of the minority which tend to be ironically similar to those of the majority and to acknowledge the experiences of those whose voices are not often heard. With the launch of Arianna Jones Productions LLC she hopes to be able to write, produce, and distribute these types of stories on an even larger scale.
