The original model Apple AirPods and its latest version AirPods 2 both are the best true wireless earbuds in the market but they have faults in them too. The size and wireless nature of the AirPods make them difficult to be found once kept somewhere casually. The problem can be easily fixed using Find My iPhone app. The app needs to be launched to the iOS device and signed in with the Apple ID. Select Find My iPhone option, then the AirPods which will lead to a map which will show the location of the pods before they were powered off.
The AirPods also have pairing problem certain times. They do not get connected to a phone or tablet. During this time the best thing on how to fix airpods is to put them back in the charging case, wait around 10 seconds, take them out and pop them in ears again. Or one can try turning the Bluetooth on and off of the phone or tablet and repeat the earlier process. The AirPods can be fully reset too. This is a catch all fix for many problems.
Sometimes maintaining a Bluetooth connection can be problematic with older Mac machines. If putting the AirPods back into their case for 10 seconds before putting them back in the ears doesn’t work, then it is better to remove and then pair the devices again to solve the connection problem.
Other problem the AirPods users are facing is intermittent call drops since the first launch of AirPods in 2017. To solve this recurring problem always try taking calls with only one AirPod in ear and not both. Wi-Fi can cause interference with the AirPods during calls so turn it off during calls. It is best to contact Apple Support directly or head to the nearest store if any problems persist.
