In the age of social media, it is important to have a Facebook page and a livestream service. In this article, Amy Yang discusses will discuss how you can use persuasive techniques and honesty to grow your business on social media while also growing an audience for your livestream shopping service or product. The techniques were crucial to growing Amy’s Canada Shop and created explosive growth for the brand with thousands of followers in months.
Tip #1: Use hashtags
Utilize hashtags to grow your following on social media. This is especially easy if you are using Facebook, because they cater towards people who want to shop online and share with their friends by offering a livestream service. However, it can also help grow your customer base for any other type of product or service as well! For example, if you own a bakery, find hashtag pages about desserts and comment/like the pictures tagged there before posting one yourself (with credits given to them). Then continue doing this until followers start noticing what you’re up too – then try promoting some products through Instagram stories like I did below .
Tip #2: Keep up with trends
If you’re using Facebook, Snapchat or Instagram (or any other platform for that matter), try to keep up with trends. For example, if there is a popular hashtag on social media about vegan recipes – make sure your business’s account is following this trend by liking the tagged pictures and reposting some of their most recent creations! If you look at Amy’s Shop on Facebook, you’ll see that I am constantly keeping up with fashion trends in Taiwan.
Tip #3: Offer free shipping in exchange for reviews
This strategy works especially well in my experience because it allows people who are shopping online to feel like they have more control over how they receive products than buying them in store. It also helps build trust between customers and brands since many times when someone shops something online, they may be underwhelmed when receiving the product versus was advertised. So offering free shipping in exchange for product reviews can help build up that trust.
Here’s an example of how I did this on Instagram using the ‘explore’ tab:
Tip #4: Focus on building a strong customer base first
This tip is especially important if you are trying to grow your business online because it will be easier to gain new social media followers/likers when there is already loyal customers involved. For instance, one way people may find out about my livestreams and website is by word of mouth from friends or family either through Facebook, Twitter or other forms of social media – so try focusing more time towards gaining those types of leads instead! They tend to stick around longer as well since they have a of community within your brand.
Tip #5: Reflect on your content and what is working well for you
One important thing to do as a business owner is reflect on all of the efforts that you put into growing your brand or product. This includes reviewing things like how many people are following your social media accounts, if they respond better through email marketing versus direct messages online, etc. For example, I use Facebook messenger to correspond with my followers instead of posting new updates there since it tends to get more engagement than just uploading pictures . Plus, some pages give me options where I can sign up via text message so I’m not bombarded with tons of notifications! A good way to remind yourself about this step is by writing down notes after completing each task – then review them before starting a new project.
I hope that these tips have helped you grow your social media presence and customer base, they sure helped me grow Amy Shop. This is only a handful of strategies to get started, but it’s important to be creative with whatever works best for your brand so don’t be afraid to experiment . Also, if you want more inspiration – look at brands similar to yours on social media or search up some hashtags about what they sell/offer as well since those are great ways to see how other companies market their products online.
